Silencer Shop Elite Dealer: What the Elite Tier Means

Elite is the top tier in Silencer Shop's dealer network. See how a dealer earns it, what it does and does not tell you, and what to ask before you buy.

Silencer Shop Elite is the top tier in Silencer Shop’s network of partner dealers. A dealer earns it by buying a set number of suppressors through Silencer Shop in a year. It tells you a dealer does a lot of suppressor business through that system. It does not tell you how well a shop will treat you, so it is worth knowing what it does and does not mean.

Lakeside Munitions is a Silencer Shop Elite dealer. This post explains what that label is, using Silencer Shop’s own pages, so you can weigh it for yourself. Everything here is as of November 2026.

Silencer Shop Elite Dealer: What the Tier Is

Silencer Shop sells suppressors online and sends them to a local dealer for pickup. Its how to buy page says you choose a suppressor, pick your local dealer, and check out online. The dealer is the shop where you finish the paperwork and pick it up. Silencer Shop says it has over 6,000 dealers.

The dealer matters more than most buyers expect. On Silencer Shop’s page, the kiosk visit for your fingerprints happens at a local dealer, and so does the short certification where you and the dealer send the eForm 4 to ATF together. The suppressor is picked up from that same dealer after ATF approves it. In other words, once you click buy, you deal with your dealer far more than with Silencer Shop.

Those dealers sit in tiers. Silencer Shop’s 2026 dealer rewards page lists three: Powered By, Professional and Elite. Every partner dealer starts at Powered By. A dealer moves up by buying more suppressors through Silencer Shop, and Elite is the top step.

How a Dealer Earns Elite

The rewards page says Professional and Elite are unlocked by hitting a yearly purchase requirement, and it publishes the number of suppressors each tier needs.

A few other rules from that page:

  • The level is based on purchases made starting January 1 of the current year.
  • Once a dealer qualifies, Silencer Shop says the dealer is qualified through 2027, and has to requalify each year to keep the tier.
  • Silencer Shop says it can change or end the program at any time.

So Elite is not a one-time badge. It is a volume bar that a shop has to keep meeting. The bar is not the same for every shop. The same page lists a promotion that lowers the requirement for dealers on one of Silencer Shop’s software bundles. So a number you see online is a guide, not a fixed rule. A bar like that rewards shops that send a lot of orders through Silencer Shop. It says nothing about shops that sell suppressors another way. Our own count is over 500 suppressors moved since we opened in 2024.

What Elite Gets the Dealer

Silencer Shop’s rewards page lists what each tier gets the dealer. For Elite, it lists:

  • Processing fees of $0 on orders from Silencer Shop’s own inventory and on other inventory a dealer submits through its system. These are fees between the dealer and Silencer Shop. They are not fees you pay.
  • A 1% rebate on orders, credited to the dealer’s account each quarter.
  • A wider radius on Silencer Shop’s dealer locator, so more nearby customers see the shop.

Silencer Shop’s page describes the idea in one line: as a shop buys and sells more suppressors through Silencer Shop, it unlocks higher tiers and bigger rewards. It is a growth program for dealers.

Notice what is on that list: lower costs and more visibility for the dealer. Nothing on it is a promise about your price, your approval time, or your service. That is why we would not ask you to pick a dealer on the label alone.

What Elite Does Not Mean

Elite is Silencer Shop’s own tier. It is not an ATF license, and it is not a rating from the government. ATF decides whether your Form 4 is approved, and approval time is not on Silencer Shop’s list of tier benefits. Silencer Shop’s own help article says its dealer levels are based on factors such as transfer volume and overall participation in its system.

It is also not a promise about brands. We can get the majority of brands, and the best way to find out whether we can get the one you want is to ask.

A fair way to use the tier is as a tiebreaker, after you have compared the wait, the fees and how clearly each shop answers you.

Other shops can hold a tier too. You can look up any dealer and its tier yourself: Silencer Shop’s help article on dealer levels says you can find dealers and see their tier level through its Dealer Finder.

What to Ask Any Dealer Before You Buy

A tier is a starting point. These questions tell you more.

  • Where do I stand on the wait? At our counter right now, filing as an individual is running 2 to 3 days and can take up to 21 days. Filing through a trust can take up to a month. A good dealer gives you a range before you pay.
  • Who does the paperwork and fingerprints? At our shop, we do the forms and fingerprints with you at the kiosk, with a person next to you. Our post on the Silencer Shop kiosk covers that visit.
  • Is there a transfer fee? Buy the suppressor from us, or directly from Silencer Shop with us as your dealer, and there is none. We charge $100 only when a suppressor was bought somewhere else and shipped to us.
  • Will you call me when it clears? We call you the day your approval comes through.
  • Do you help with trusts? Georgia is an NFA trust state, so you can file as an individual or through a trust. We can help you create a trust for your future needs at the store.
  • Can I handle the suppressor first? You can walk in, handle suppressors and start the paperwork. You cannot take one home the same day, because ATF has to approve the application.

You can also trade a gun toward a suppressor here. Trade value goes on your store account and works on suppressors. How the trade credit works has the steps.

What Stays True No Matter the Tier

Georgia law only exempts a suppressor from the state ban when it is registered under the National Firearms Act. ATF’s October 2026 guidance says it does not supersede state law. So at any Georgia dealer, Elite or not, a suppressor still goes through the Form 4. The federal tax stamp is $0 this year, which our post on the $0 tax stamp explains with sources. This is general information, not legal advice.

We say Elite because it is true and you can check it, not because it is the whole story. Elite is one fact about a shop. The better test is a conversation. Come by our Cumming shop, ask the questions above, and handle a few suppressors. You can read how buying works on our suppressors page, or ask us anything first through the contact page.
